DO NOT USE >XPLANE DATABASE UPDATE MENU<

Dear Pilots,

We have done many tests on the new GoodWay v4, but one trouble has found a way to disturbe us :o(

Ok, please, do not use the GoodWay-Download-XPLANE DATABSE UPDATE menu.

If you use it, you will disable GoodWay and XPlane.

If you have used it, you can t make any flight plan from GoodWay.

To check if you have this trouble:
Go to About dialog, on the Info tab.
If you see that :

Version : 2 (NOT Compatible)
File Size : 989

you have the trouble.

How to solve it :
1) Go to X-Plane 9.00r3-Resources-default scenery-default apt dat-Earth nav data folder and rename the file
apt.dat.bak to apt.dat

2) Go to X-Plane 9.00r3-Resources-default data folder and rename the files
earth_awy.dat.bak to earth_awy.dat
earth_fix.dat.bak to earth_fix.dat
earth_nav.dat.bak to earth_nav.dat

and relaunch GoodWay. All will be fine after that...

We apology about this trouble. Done many tests is never anought :o(

We are working on a solution for really soon, don t worry.
Excepting this point, GoodWay v4 runs VERY WELL :o)

New World Map Hilight system HILIGHT every selected points over the world map.

- You can enable or disable a sceneri,

- You can hilight custom airport over the worldmap (yellow circle around)
- Custom airports are underlined on every airport and search dialogs

On Flight Plan Builder, select a SID or a STAR show it on the Map.

You can see the OM markers over the world map

Proxy managment for user using Proxy system

Airport Ramp are now showed and listed inside over the Airport Information dialog.

New waypoints can be added on the start or the end of your flight plan in a click

Move your waypoints inside your flight plan list by a simple drag and drop.

New XPlane airport format understand and Airport draw are really improved from this new format

Many interface improvments (like dialogs can now be validated by using Enter or Canceled by using Escape key, texte zone automatic selection and more...).

GoodWay uses the new XPlane FMS Limit (500 Waypoints)

You can create your own airways inside GoodWay and let GoodWay use them.

Default NAT and PACOT included in case of trouble on the official NAT / PACOT web site.

oodway automatically manage the new XPlane Aircraft pictures and convert your entire GoodWay pictures to the new XPlane format. Every GoodWay Compatible aircraft will be automatically updated :)

New direct eMail system to communicat with GoodWay Team

GoodWay v4, in a week
Dear Pilots,

XPlane v9 is released from today. I hope to have GoodWay v4 Ready for this week end or for the end of next week (depends of tests on XPlane final version).

How about Free Update (purchased FROM December 1, 2007):
Soon has GoodWay v4 will be released, every GoodWay Shareware Subscribers will receive the licence by email including every information to update.

How about pay Update (purchased BEFORE December 1, 2007):
Soon has GoodWay v4 will be released, every GoodWay v3 Shareware Subscribers will receive an email including every information and the web link to update. You will update for a special $25 price during 3 Month. After, the update will back to the regular $29 pricing.

GoodWay and XPlane v9
Dear Pilots,

Many questions about GoodWay for XPlane v9. Ok, now, some details (more coming soon).

GoodWay v4 is on the way to be released on same time XPlane v9 will be released itself.

This new version will be MacUniversal, Windows (XP-Vista) and Linux software.
Will be XPlane v8-v9 compatible…

What’s news inside this new Release ?

What about this upgrade pricing ?
Pricing is the same of last upgrade they is 3 years (price is not increased).

Every GoodWay v3 subscriptions BEFORE December 1 2007 can have preferential update pricing during 2 Months after release to GoodWay v4 for $25. You need to wait release publication HERE BEFORE SUBSCRIBES…

Every GoodWay v3 subscriptions AFTER December 1 2007 can update to GoodWay v4 for FREE.

Summer Vacation
Dear Pilots,

It is now vacation time for GoodWay Team. Don t worry, we will back on September 3

During us vacation, we can t send you your licence and reply to your questions. But, if a cybercafé can be found on vacation place, we will send your licence before, of course :)

GoodWay 3.4.4 Released
Dear Pilots,

The new GoodWay version 3.4.4 is now available. This version:
- GoodWay Log uses less disk space now.
- Aircraft dialog is speeder now if you have more than 600 aircraft.
- About dialog shows you the number of GoodWay compatible aircraft you have.
- GoodWay can now save and load flight plan have ICAO code less than 4 characteres.
- GoodWay can handle every mouse drivers for using mouse wheel.

GoodWay can be automatically downloaded and installed from: Run GoodWay and go to the "Download-GoodWay update" menu.

No update need to Freeware versions.

GoodWay 3.4.3 Released

The new GoodWay version 3.4.3 is now available. This version:
- Some Windows have trouble to load aircraft.
- Loading aircraft too slow.

GoodWay can be automatically downloaded and installed from: Run GoodWay and go to the "Download-GoodWay update" menu.

No update need to Freeware versions.
