The object of the Planes Environment Kit is to allow aircraft designers to make them compatible with GoodWay (> 1.0.0 Beta 9)
X-Plane aircraft do not have to be compatible with GoodWay. On the othe hand they will be handled differently if they are. The planes technical data will be automatically managed by GoodWay if they are compatible.
Sites that produce aircraft compatible with GoodWay may display this logo (the GIF file is available in the Plane Environment Kit):
To simplify the task of aircraft designers, the kit includes all necessary elements and examples that will ensure GoodWay compatibility.

You can find here a package with all the "plane.txt" files, containing all technical information already gathered which will allow you to gain precious time. These information are taken from the original aircraft manufacturers and correspond to cruising data.
